I have a pop-up hitch and have for many years. It is a fine hitch, except...mine (and I'm on my second one) is not as easy to drop and raise as the ads would have you believe. It doesn't take much crud around the hitch to make the ball difficult to drop and the positioning of the handle next to the tire is very awkward. I drive a half-ton Chevy, the positioning may be different on different makes of trucks. We tend to leave the ball up all the time and it is a two person job to raise or lower it. Not sure I'd buy another one but they are made 30 miles from where I live and they seemed perfect at the time. Again, nothing wrong with them but if you really need to raise and lower your ball often, I'd look at something else.

ETA-I should have read further, I have the pop-up, not the flip over. Also, you cannot fault their customer service. When my first hitch jammed and even my mechanic couldn't get it to "pop" they replaced it without question, and several months later.
