Location: missouri | You are adorable!!! that is a great story. I am sorry that you got screwed on the accident... at this point (speaking from experience after husband was hit head on/other driver at fault-underinsured/we went in the hole 172K!) you just thank your lucky stars to be above ground, I guess.... |

Location: Georgia | Thank goodness no one was seriously hurt. I gotta tell ya, I would probably be in jail if that drunk had hit my horse trailer. At the very least, he woulda got a might fine cussing!! Again, I am so glad everyone survived the ordeal!

Location: Oklahoma | Great story-love your "style"...Sorry it happened but so glad no one was hurt worse-bad enough as it was. Politics - again...I learned Insurance folks try to sell the cheapest policies allowed to get business, but not always the best for what is needed for the driver. We pay a lot in insurance every year now,- but feel we have to. Daughter got hit by an underinsured driver some years ago-with a friend in truck and a horse in trailer. We learned the hard way too. Thankfully no one seriously hurt then either, but costly in getting vehicles replaced, medical bills etc. AND it took MONTHS! I was making payments on a truck that was totaled....and didn't have a replacement! |

Location: ohio | That was quite an adventure. Glad every one was okay and your new horses loaded right back up. You have to wonder where some of these cops get their training, you would expect better from a state trooper. I just had a big buck run into the side of my 95 V-10 and do $2,000 damage. Lucky for me the insurance paid up the day they took the estimate. People have made fun of us for carrying full coverage on our older trucks. My husband has a 97 Dodge Cummins in A one condition and the way I think about it, is they are good running trucks and right now we could not afford a new one. And you are right, it doesn't cost much more for full coverage. I had a old 84 Cutlass that a guy plowed into the back of it, had full coverage on it and got more out of it then I could have sold it for and was able to have a nice down payment for my truck. I hope you changed your insurance company. |

Location: Tamarack, PA, USA | That was excellent - you had me laughing out loud. So glad the injuries were minimal, other thank your mental anguish over some of the ridiculous "assessments". You are a great writer. |
