Location: Brooksville, Fl | Well, we got our new Lakota Bighorn trailer a couple of weeks ago and took it camping for Thanksgiving weekend....I'm still smiling. We only replaced our old trailer because we wanted a slide and so far we are not disappointed in our new trailer. We got a 3H with a 12ft LQ. Can I say rooooomy! I couldn't even fill up all of the cabinets, yet :) I have to give a 5 star rating to Jim at Sparta Chevrolet in Mich. as he was wonderful to deal with and most helpful. We were also able to work directly with Lakota and I'm happy to say they got everything just the way we wanted it. It's easy to lose things in translation when customizing but we were able to get it done just the way we wanted it. The trailer looks great and we feel like we got a lot of trailer for our hard earned money. Everything worked and we had a great camping trip for our first time out in it. My big horse fits nicely in the rear stall and even managed to turn himself around in it when I forgot to tie him (got sidetracked before I made it around to the side window, imagine that)....trouble maker. We don't call him Joker for nothing! All is well and nothing is broken. Fortunately, he doesn't panic easily and waited for me to undoe the butt strap to let him out. I had left the door open for extra air while we finished up...won't do that again. Anyhow, happy camper here! |

Location: albany, ga | You have made me feel better about my decision to order a Lakota. How long did it take you to get your trailer? I plan to order mine this week. |

Location: Brooksville, Fl | uffan831, it took approximately 2 weeks once it was placed in line to be made. They're very snappy there. Quite an operation. And loveduffy, I feel that I will eventually add many more chips and dips....I may not be able to find all of them once they are loaded...LOL |

Location: nc | We LOVE LOVE LOVE our new Lakota. We got the Warrior SE. We had it special orded and it did take 9 weeks to get it in. It was worth the wait. We got in in June and have had no problems at all. The plumbing is a little low we just have to be very careful. I hope you shoped around because the diffrent dealers have diffent $$$ for the same trailer. |
