Does anyone have any advice on buying, using, or general experience with a 12 volt TV and/or coffee maker? Is there a particular brand you like better? Assuming I know nothing about these is a good place to start.

Some auto specialty stores offer a small coffee maker and TV. Our friends have the TV and sucks the life from their batteries pretty quickly. I have a 12 volt hair dryer but it does not get very warm and takes a long time to dry my hair. I am a real fan of propane. Coleman makes a one burner stove that you can cook on, make coffee and lots more. I have a battery DVD player that we take and recharge in the truck.
