Hello all -- I would appreciate any advice.

I have a 2002 Trail-et Jetstar 3-horse slant load. Since purchasing the trailer, I've moved to warmbloods and they don't fit!

I'm ready to buy a new trailer, and am considering a 2+1 that converts to 2 boxstalls. It needs to be a gooseneck with a dressing room, and I'd prefer the side and rear ramps. Besides advice on any particular models, I could really use some generic advice, as I don't know enough about towing difficulties with this type of set up.

Please note that I am open to all suggestions. I don't haul often or far.

Welcome to HTW...!!

How much truck do you have? 2500, 3500, 4500 more?Could you pull three box stalls with a dressing room?  I pull a trailer like to this one with a GM 3500 dually. http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/home/trailerdetail.asp?ID=279923

If you liked your Trail-et, then you may like the 3 horse walk thru Hawk... They are not much longer that your Jetstar, about 5 and a half foot.  http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/home/trailerdetail.asp?ID=274149

Living in Colorado, with a 2500 you want to limit yourself to a true 2+1 design..something like this... http://coasttocoasttrailer.com/horse-trailers-for-sale-details.asp?... if you could find a used C&C 2+1, you'd also be very happy...

With a 2500, I'd probably look for a 2+1 trailer, too. I pulled a 4 horse head to head for years, and really liked it, but it's too much trailer for a single rear wheel pickup. Are you on the front range, or over on the west slope?
