Location: Connecticut | I found a lightly used, 1999 Sundowner Sportman 2 horse bumper pull. It has wood floors and appears to be in excellent condition. Does anyone know anything good or bad about that particular Sundowner year? Any idea what a fair value would be for this trailer? I looked on the trailer page, but don't see any info on that year or model. |

Location: Arkansas | I have a 97, and it has been outstanding. The paint still is fine (and it is parked outside) and have never had any trouble with it at all! Pulls great, windows, doors, latches all still work perfectly....our mules and roping horse are broke to be "sent" into the trailer to load and they do great....... |

Location: Ottawa, Illinois 61350 | The old Sundowner steel products were excellent trailers; and there are still a lot of them running around today, with good paint and very solid. Actually, the Sundowner all steel products were as fine a steel trailer as their was built at the time. They actually stopped building them in late '98, so the one your looking at would be one of the last ones built. Don't hesitate to buy it, if you can. I would say the value would be somewheres between $3500 to $4500, depending on overall condition. It will serve you well for a long time. |
