I installed a B&W Turnover ball in our 2008 F-250 this weekend. My wife will be towing her first gooseneck trailer this weekend and fortunately it has plenty of wiring to reach the factory plug under the bumper. But I want to finish this with a clean wiring install. It looks like I can buy a plug-in harness that allows me to add a second set of plugs closer to the gooseneck in the bed. I want durable, high quality wiring and no manual splices that sacrifice longevity.1) What brand makes a good wiring harness for this? I see them for sale but I want to make sure it will never need replaced.2) Where is a good place/method for mounting? We have a drop-in bedliner.
