Sorry, no picture but a good friend cut a headboard shape out of plywood and then padded and covered it with a suede fabric. Turned out very professional and looks very sharp.

Buckskin, I have a headboard. The headboard is a low arch. The fabric used is the same as the window valances. I'm guessing the support for the fabric is plywood. Around the perimeter of the headboard is a padded roll. The headboard looks pretty nice and coordinates well with the valances. Above the headboard I have a small row of cabinets. The reading spot lights are mounted in the bottom of this cabinet. Also take a look at some Classic trailers. I really like what they did. It's easy, functional and looks good. It looks like a headboard (valance/upolstery fabric)on board and runs up about half way up the nose, but the exterior nose of the trailer is not square and there is a nice usable space between the "head board" and the nose. A great place for pillows and blankets and easy to access. My complaint with cabinets in the nose is that one cannot open the doors very well with the bedding in the way.

Thanks everyone. I do like the one in the 17' Royal. I was leaning more towards ones that look like this one:
