HiI would like to have a propane tank mounted under the gooseneck on my 4-Star trailer. In the future I may want to have a propane line run into the trailer but for now I would just like to be able to access the tank to run my grill and outdoor camp stove. When I spoke with a guy at a trailer dealer and repair, he told me they would just put on a ring, up high, and bolt through the gooseneck wall with no additional bracing. Is this true? How can that thin aluminum be strong enough to support a tank without welding some framing in to bolt through? I had also suggested he could weld a support down low to the trailer frame and he doesn't want to do that, says it's not safe to have the propane tank that close to the road.Advice please.ThanksJoan
