Location: Arkansas | I need a Vin # ran for me in TX and AZ. Can anyone here do this?I have contacted my DMV and they state I need to run the Vin # in the state it was last titled in, I am not sure which one was the last one. I don't think I was given all the paperwork for this trailer. So it would probably be best to h ave it ran in both states. If you are a dealer in one of these states and can run Vin's, please let me know. Thanks |

Location: Southern New Mexico | I was trying to look up my vin to try to find the manufacturer and there are web sites that will do it. Just do a google search for vin look up. The sites didn't work on my trailer though because I only have a 5 digit vin. |

| A 5 digit sounds more like a basic serial number, rather than a VIN. A lot of smaller steel companies have given such numbers over the years, rather than registering with NHTSA and being able to assign a true VIN. Most of those types have now either gone out of business, or are now using real VINs. |

Location: Southern New Mexico | It's listed as the VIN on the title and it's the only number stamped on the trailer. |
