Location: TX | I need to replace the tires on my F-150 SC. Size is P255/70 R16. Currently have Michelin LTX M/S and wanted to replace with Michelin LTX M/S2. We have always had good experiences using Michelin tires. The service center where I want to have this work done is suggesting Continental tires are equivalent to Michelin. I know nothing about this brand. My priority is to have a safe, quality tire for my tow vehicle. Any input?? TIA |

Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | Your tire man probably stands to make more money off of the Continental tires, probably got them on the rack in the store, so he's pushing them. He knows if he sells you the Michelins, it will be a while before you come back needing more tires..... I like my LTX M/S's. |

Location: TX | Thanks, Retento. Searching through other posts on the forum, I see the Michelins are well liked. Found some negative reviews on the 'net about the Continental. I appreciate your response. |

Location: Home of the WNFR at Christmas | Conti can make some good tires, that being said I have a set on my F250 right now that are some of the worst tires I have ever owned they are the contitrac that were stock on an 08 F250/350 diesel. they are loud, ride poorly, and have poor traction wet or dry. I say no |

Location: Where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain... | I'm a big fan of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". That being said, why change if you're happy with the brand that you have? |
