Location: Virginia | I am looking for an extra tall, extra wide trailer. I have searched until my eyes have blurred. I'm looking for a 4 horse trailer or stock/combo for 4. No living quarters, but a decent size dressing room/tack room would be great. I don't pull that often, but a quality trailer is a must. I currently have a 2005 Sundowner 727, 4 horse, slant load, step up that is standard size....meaning, 7' tall, 6'9" wide. I just can't fit 2 of my guys in it, unless I leave the windows open and their heads are hanging all the way out...LOL. Does anyone have some leads? I would like to go back to a ramp (trailer before this one had ramp), but stay with slant load. I like most major brands (Keifer Built, Merhow, Exiss, Sundowner, etc). Thanks in advance in any/all suggestions!! |

I would you would a lot to choose from. I own a Logan Coach XTR. They are a Steel frame with aluminum skin. They come in a Standard 7'3" width and in either a 7' or 7'6" height. ( 7'6" is usually with LQ and the 7'0" is usually with out LQ) Begining in 2009 They also started making the XT and XTR models in a 8' Wide. I have the DR, a mid tack and a 4H in which I can easily put 5 horses. This is the Non LQ. It has about a 3' Shortwall ![](http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p259/Painted-Horse/2009/Union%20Falls/trailer2.jpg)

| Hi Pitty Pat, I just ordered a Blue Ribbon all aluminum trailer yesterday. They are 7'6" standard height, width is 6"8" but the last horse in can benefit from quite alot of extra length and width by moving the rear saddle rack to the attachment fixtures in the dressing room and collapsing the rear removable/collapsable saddle area. Good luck in your search. JR's Pal |

Location: Virginia | Love the look of the Logan! I didn't even think about them. My aunt has a Logan BP (heavy as hell...all steel) and it's holding up great! I'll check 'em out. Thanks so much! |

Location: Virginia | Thanks for the info. I got some Featherlite paperwork while in Lexington (WEG) and really like the construction info provided. I'd like to check out the series you mentioned. Thanks again. |

Central Illinois | WE bought a Cimarron and many have mentioned how roomy it is. You could fit any size horse without the mangers. My husband rides a a TWH/App cross. Love the Cimarron--also looked at Featherlights. |

Unless you have unlimited amounts of money to spend than go for the others listed. Logan is pretty much everywhere I think. They have all kinds of different models to choose from too. All the newer ones that I have seen are really nice and big. |
