Told you I had a lot of questions...

My DR is tiny...4' straight wall.  It's mostly insulated and lined now thanks to all of the great info on this site.  Supports were put in prior to finishing the roof for an AC.

So if I don't have $800 to spend on an AC right now are there any other good venting/cooling options out there?  I'm not looking to keep the trailer at 70 but more airflow than my little side windows provide would be nice.  Do the powered/nonpowered 14" roof vents work well enough to draw some of the warm air out?  I've seen some trailers installed with Fantastic fans but can't find any comments on whether they really work enough to justify cutting a huge hole in my roof.

Thanks!

In our 12' SW we have central AC and also a Fantastic Fan in the bathroom. When the trailer is sitting at home, we will leave the fan on blowing out quite often just to keep some of the heat and humidity out of the LQ. It has really seemed to help, especially on these days when we are in the 100-105 heat indexes. It is amazing how much air movement can do to make life more comfortable.

If you cut the hole, you would be able to do either AC or the fan, or even just a vent. Then it's done before you finish off the ceiling.
