Location: western PA | When you purchase a slant load trailer, most manufacturers can alter the slant angles and widths to include large stalls for larger animals. These can include lengths of 11' and widths ~45". The wider the trailer, the more easily this is accomplished. With a slant load trailer, simply opening the divider will create a large stall area, with no need to remove a center divider. Many slant load trailers have the axles further under the center of the stall area, instead of the rear most part of the frame. This allows the trailer axles to carry a higher percentage of the weight, and lessens the tongue or pin weight on the towing vehicle. |
