This weekend my a/c didn't seem to be cooling properly.  I recently used the a/c with no problem.  I wonder if the power was strong enough at this particular campsite. What is the easiest to use, cheapest method I can bring along so that I can check for this and avoid damaging my a/c. I have looked through Camping World's catalog and am thoroughly confused!

That is not a real easy thing to check. It requires an amp meter. Then you need to know how to use it, and a plug in that allows for it's use.

Best idea to just ask the owner of the camping site the capacity of the plug in.

get yourself a voltmeter and check the voltage at the plug....the un-used one that is, check with your a/c off and note the reading in volts. Now turn on the a/c and see how bad it drops if it drops much more than 10% and stays there it is probably your problem and quite possibly can damage your a/c unit.
