I'm looking at buying a small used LQ & have a small budget it. I'd prefer not to have a shower/toilet combo but that's all I'm seeing in my price range. Does anyone have any experience with them & pros/cons?

Trying to decide if I should suck it up or stay a snob lol

My opinion there is plenty of trailers offered right now so I would wait and find one that is NOT together.  You can also look at a trailer a couple of years older and find one without the combo.

CONS: I you or someone you are with is over 5.4 or so and 150lbs or larger it will be tough.  I am 6' and 250 and I wold not try it at all, my better half is 5.4, 130 she has use one, but a one time deal ONLY!

Also another con would be resale value!

Pros: you can do your buisness and wash off at the same time would be the only pro I could think of.

I have a weekender with a 4' short wall. My bathroom has a separate shower and toilet. The newer trailers, in the same space, have a one piece combination unit.

As HTB relates, it is cramped using the shower. The plus side is that in the smallest of spaces, you have to ability to clean yourself, and do your business.

As far as resale, I looked long and hard to find our trailer. I have had several unsolicited offers for more than I paid for it. We have a larger LQ with a full stand alone shower. We now use the smaller trailer most of the time. The bathroom is the single main reason we purchased this trailer. Its convenience, privacy and cleanliness is especially welcomed.

The snobs can suffer in their vocality. I and my family are comfortable at the end of the day.
