Location: GA | Anyone have one? Is it any good? I am getting a new trailer and it will have to be stored outdoors. The cover sounds like a good idea for protecting the paint but I am thinking it could hold in moisture and accelerate rusting. Any thoughts? |

Location: Brooksville, Fl | I have never used a cover so I can't answer questions about moisture, etc. However, how long will it be stored? Are you willing to take the cover off every time you want to use it and then replace it again? I would find this too time consuming unless it will be stored for a long period of time. |

Location: western PA | If you have a LQ trailer, it is most difficult fitting a cover by one person. The cover has to be custom made to fit all the various appendages protruding from the roof. It takes some serious effort and time to install and remove, and becomes a hindrance to avoid. A smooth skinned roof is easier on to which to apply a cover. In most cases it only takes some ropes to pull it over the top, while being careful not to catch the stall vents. Our trailers brave some bad snow storms, and lousy year around weather, uncovered. We have had no problems, and they are always ready for usage when needed. |

Location: GA | It is just a little 2h BP but I did have the same thought about it being a pain to put the cover off and on. Waxing..do you hand wax yours or use the spray on wax at the car wash? Speaking of car washes..do any of you wash yours (inside and out) at one? Thanks and sorrry for all the questions. This is my first trailer and I am obsessing. LOL |

Location: Western WA | I bought a cover designed for 5th wheels at Camping World for my gooseneck LQ trailer. It did not fit properly as 5th wheels are a different shape than horse trailers. First relatively windy day (and we don't get high winds) several straps pulled loose, and I don't think I had it 3 months and all the straps had pulled loose. Because it was too big, it acted like a kite/sail and caught all the wind. Was a waste of money and yes it took two of us to put it on. Would definitely not buy another one unless it was custom made and extremely durable. And would only use it during my off-season months when the trailer doesn't move. I would not use in my active show months. |
