Might check with a different installer or dealer. I seen a 2011 F-350 with a B&W hitch in the bed over the weekend. (I'm not sure anything changed on the frame of the Ford's for 11 models)

Location: Northern Utah | How come you just didn't let Ford install their hitch. They offer it now as a factory option or dealer installed. And if you got one of the first 2011, How about a review of the truck

| The Truck is amazing!!! My last Ford was an 03 F250 with the 5.4. The 2011 is a BEAST!!! Gassing it it bearly breaks 4000 rpm pinned. Right now averaging 14.6 MPG with regular gas. I really want a hitch in this thing to put it to the real test. If you are in the market for a new truck I would highly recoommend this one. FORD did their homework. |

Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | So this new 2011 truck or yours has the 6.2 gas engine, not the "Scorpion" diesel? The new 6.2-liter V-8 gasoline engine delivers 405 ft.-lb. of torque (at 4,500 rpm) and 385 horsepower (at 5,500 rpm) on regular gasoline. These numbers represent an increase of 40 ft.-lb. of torque and 85 horsepower over the current 5.4-liter V-8.
