I am wanting to buy a used 6.5 foot slide on truck camper and if anyone had any expertise with M&M, Capri's or other brands.

I've done quite a bit of structural work on Coachman and several other brands no longer in business. They were of the aluminum clad, wood framed designs, not the newer glass over aluminum types.

I have a 8.5 foot coachman and they are really well made. I do have some board rot where the water splashed up on the overhang but everything inside works well. I need to find the slide on for a 6 cylinder halfton. I don't think it can handle anymore weight then that.

We have a short bed sunlite pop up truck camper that we have been very happy with.We used it a good bit til till we bought a gooseneck trailer and now we camp in the front of that. The only drawback to the truck camper for me was that once camp was set up we had no vehicle, now we unhook the gooseneck and have a truck and camper.
