Location: PA | I have a 2 horse bumper pull slant combo trailer, the make is American and the model is Stampede. I can't find the manufacturer anywhere, I've been trying to google them to find a phone number. Last week I hauled my horse down to the vet and my trailer plug came out of my truck and broke in half, it got a serious case of "road rash". I bought a new plug and the replacement process is not going well. My boyfriend attempted to replace it but he's never done it before, although he is quite handy and good at figuring this stuff out. So, What I'm trying to find the manufacturer for is to find out which wire goes where in the plug. It is a 6-way plug and my trailer only has 4 wires plus the ground. Is there a standard for all trailers or should I continue to try to find my manufacturer to get a diagram of the wires on their plugs? |
