Location: TX | We just purchased a used trailer and trying to get everything ready to go down the road. Finally put water into it today and discovered that the water heater leaks. This is a small trailer w/ limited space so it currently has a Tiny Titan 2.5 gallon water heater and thats about all that will fit in there. I can't really imagine 2.5 gallons is going to be much of a shower?My question is what other options are out there. How about a tankless? How well does it work? This is an all electric trailer.Thanks for any suggestions.Jeremy |

| JeremyKS, Actually, I think that if you chose to replace the 2.5 gallon, I think that you would be surprised how well it will do. If the electric will get as hot as the propane ones do, you will have plenty for a shower. Four gallons is plenty for a shower and hair wash, even for a woman. I don't know anything about tankless, so I'll let others comment on that option. |

Location: TX | Its the American brand but an older model with a different look to it but more less the same one. I do like the sounds of the 4 gal Titan but I need to go measure to see it will fit. Any thoughts on a tankless 110v?Thank |

| JeremyKS, I think that my post was confusing. I meant that even with the 2.5 gallon, if it is as hot as my propane heater, you will need about 60/40 with the cold water, hence the 4 gallon quantity. If you can get the 4 gallon tank in there and it's as hot as mine, it should be enough water for two people's showers without a reheat time in between. |

| Im glad this topic was on here! Does anyone know,if you have to reduce the water pressure that comes out of the tiny titan 2.5 gallon hot water heater, or is the pressure reducer outside(the one that hooks up to the water hose)enough? Ive never hooked up something like this, and dont want to blow out the plumbing in my trailer. Thanks for the help! |
