Location: USA | Can you back straight under your 4star and then put the tail gate up or do you have to stop part of the way under it and then put it up? |

Location: mount vernon ar. 72111 | I back over ball. Lower on ball. Then I put tailgate up. Never had any issues on my 2004 f350 long wheelbase or my 2007 Dodge 3500 long wheelbase. |

Location: Ohio | Some goosenecks are longer than others; some trucks have higher sides (and tailgates than others). Example: 1999 Cherokee trailer - both '93 longbed F350 & '95 K2500 fit fine. 2008 K3500 doesn't fit, I have to back up part way to the ball, get out and close the tailgate before centering over the ball. Of course, since my husband wrecked the tailgate it's not a problem because I don't have tailgate on the truck anymore.  |

Location: USA | Thank you all, my last trailer I could back right under the ball and then put the tailgate up but that was a Sundowner and with the 4 Star that I have now I have to back almost all the way back and then put the tailgate up and then finish backing up, I think my other 4 Star was this way, same truck just different trailer (must be my truck) ha. Anyways thank you again. |
