Location: Monroe, WA | I have a built in shelf above the fridge that is a place of the TV, the antenna jack is up there also. I move the TV to the bed when moving but afraid I will forget to do that. The wood seems to be particle board. Is there a way to safely secure the TV to that shelf? I would like to put a strap over the TV but not sure the particle board will hold or what to use to hold the straps. Behind the TV would be a cabinet and to one side is a vent, with the other side and front open. |

Location: cedar rapids iowa | I used agle iron. Double sided tape to the tv and screws to the wood. Double sided tape would work for the wood also. |

| I would bolt all the way through the shelf and use large washers on both sides of the shelf. The only issue I can see is that the bolt head might show on the underside of the shelf. Using that principle you could use eye bolts on each side of the TV and use a strap over TV. docgj |

I might add that when pulling my stuff doesn't bounce around so you may be overly worried. I have driven hundreds of miles forgetting to put away glass of water and get home and not a drop has spilled and the cup has stayed on the counter. If your trilaer is bouncing alot you may need to look at how the weight is distributed |

Location: Monroe, WA | The shelf is actually the top of the fridge so I cannot go all the way through. Wait I think there is an overhang where I could go all the way through on the front. Thanks for the ideas. OK admission, I have forgotten the TV up there and it fell. The TV was OK, this time... |
