We just purchased a trailer and awning has a tear. The tear is close to the trailer near the roof and wondered if I could use awning tape to repair it? Don't know what to do maybe need to take it to get it professionally repaired. Any advice would be appreciated.

The tape will probably be the cheapest way to repair... Just be sure to go by the mfg's direcions.

I repaired a small tear with the RV awning tape.  Once you get a roll of that stuff you will be amazed what else it works on in a pinch.
