Getting ready to order lights and switches for my DIY LQ. What is the difference between a 2 prong switch and a 3 prong switch? I'm thinking that the 2 prong you ground your light and just run the +pos wire from the converter to the switch then to the light. But the 3 prong puzzles me is one prong for +pos in and the other two +pos out for like hooking more than one light to the switch? Thanks

Typically a two prong switch will be an on off controller for a simple circuit, from a single location. A three prong switch will be used in conjunction with another similar switch, to control a common light from two different locations. Each switch will have the ability to turn the light on and off, independently of the other.
