Here's the link to the Cook Forest Scenic Trail Ride Campground. http://www.patrailride.com/index.php Spent a week there two summers ago. The campground is nice - clean and neat but nothing fancy. The proprietors are very nice. You can rent straight covered stalls or keep your horses hi-lined at your campsite. Some sights have electric and water. Food packages are available for some weeks during the season. Trails are a bit rough - or at least they were when we were there. Several horses lost shoes so bring boots in case of an emergency. They will get a farrier for you if you need one. Josh Lyons was there as a clinician and we had a good time with him and his crew. |
