I owned a 1992 Sidekick 4h bumper pull.  The trailer was fine, really liked it, the only thing about it was the FRP construction made it very heavy.  It was just under 6K # empty.  Used a diesel Excursion to pull it at last and it worked fine.  Sidekick is now built in Wichita, Ks I think????

I have a Sidekick that is of an all aluminum construction. It is built very well and has been absolutely reliable.

It differs completely from the earlier Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic constructions. A detailed inspection would be in order, to confirm the integrity of the laminations in each panel.

The newer Sidekick trailers have an excellent reputation and enjoy a high resale value. I don't know if this is true for the FRP coated plywood versions.

I think before Sidekick, they were Prolite and made in Florida.  I had a Prolite and liked it.
