Location: Abbotsford,BC | I was wondering what your favorite LQ trailer brands are? I'm looking for a new-used LQ trailer. 4 horse reverse load approx. 15 ft LQ. If anyone has a trailer along those lines and are happy with it, can you tell me the brand please. Thank you |

Location: TN | I'm in the process of ordering my 3rd Elite. I love the quality and have never had to do anything other than maintenence to them. This one will come from Denny's Trailer Sales in MN. I'm in PA and have found Sean at Denny's to be extremely helpful and easy to work with even at such a long distance. |

Location: MT | I went down the NFR this year and was looking for that same trailer and after looking around for 6 days down there and owning a couple living quarter trailer I think I am going with a platinum. I have pulled Elite's and they are a very good trailer also, I own a featherlite now and really enjoy it. But after looking and talking to all the trailer dealers I think platinums are the best trailer for the money. |

Location: Little town in Pa | I agree that 4 Star and Platinum are outstanding trailers but they were both a little too rich for my blood. I bought a Lakota instead and I am very pleased. |

Location: Abbotsford,BC | could you tell me how long you've had the Lakota? How does that compare weight wise to the other trailers? Is it all aluminum? |

Location: Little town in Pa | My Lakota has a 6ft short wall LQ, 8ft wide, 7 1/2 ft tall, 3 horse slant gooseneck and I beleive it weighs 7,600 pounds. It is all aluminum. I heard some good stuff word of mouth about their customer service before I started looking at them seriously. I also wanted an insulated roof in the horse trailer compartment to keep my horses cool in the summer. My husband and I have hauled it all over the place in the 12 months we had it and are quite happy.

| Hello Canada, I have both an Elite and a Featherlite. I like them both. The Featherlite not in the same class as the Elite, but, it has done an excellent job for me and I drive some nasty places. For top end trailers, my short list was: 4 Star, C&C, Platinum and Elite. There are other good high end manufacturers, but we don't see many of their trailers in the PNW. If you are interested in either a Featherlite or Platinum, Washington State, Oregon and Idaho have many of them. I purchased my Featherlite from Don Johnson in Walla Walla, WA and Milton-Freewater, OR (The Trailer Place, All American Trailers) sells them. The interiors are done by JR Interiors (Cove, OR), which is probably pretty much unknown outside of the PNW, but they are awesome interiors. I have one in my Featherlite. I don't have any affiliation with Don Johnson, I just think that they do good by their customers and they list their trailers on this site. |

Location: PA | I have a Hawk 3 horse straight load with a 6ft. living quarter from Double Duty. I have been really happy with both I like the Hawk because they can make it however you would like or you can buy one of the lot. The people I worked with were www.happytrailstrailers.com and I really liked them. They were wonderful to deal with and I would buy from them again. The Double Duty interior good quality, was very reasonable and again wonderful people to work with. |
