Does anyone know what a standard fee is for hauling someone else's horse?? I need a horse hauled from OK to AL, or as close as I can get him, but the guy wants to charge me $2.26/mile, which would come to @ $1200.00. It would be cheaper for me just to go get him!

Horse hauling is a very pricey proposition. We had a customer that recently got a price to have a horse hauled from Indiana to Kansas and she was quoted $800.00. Also I know of people that have their horses hauled from the Kansas City area to Estes Park Colorado every year for a 3 week horse show and they are paying $1200.00 per horse.
