Paula To answer this thread and your PM, I like and own an Exiss trailer. It is not the best as far as expensive options, but the Event construction is notably excellent, and tens of thousands of owners are happy with their purchases. The roof is made of a one piece .040" sheet of aluminum. It is absolutely water proof and pristine. It goes down hill from there. Once installed, say in a dressing room model, it may or may not have an A/C installed. If it does, you now have a 14" square hole cut into the roof. If you have a LQ, you will end up with not only that hole, but many more. Every hole is a potential source of leakage. The seams are caulked with a sealant. The skill by which it is applied and how durable a product it is, will determine if the roof will leak. This is true of every single trailer, with a similar type of construction, regardless of brand. The strength of an Exiss construction was recently proven, with graphic photos of a vehicle accident, in which the truck was turtled and the trailer laid on its side. Both horses were only slightly injured and survived. The trailer's frame structure remained secure and intact, the aluminum did not shred, every welded joint did not fail, nor did the roof explode. The trailer saved the lives of the horses. http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/forum/thread-view.asp?threadid=12348 http://www.myfox8.com/news/wghp-photos-biz-85-accident-090828,0,369045.photogallery There are better trailers as well as worse. Ours well satisfies our needs, and we are very proud owners. For voluminous pros and cons of Exiss, do a 360 days search on "Exiss" Gard
