Where can I get a battery monitor thing to tell me how much charge I have in my battery? Also, what is the thing called that I use to check the power plug at the hookup site to make sure it is correct for my trailer?

Here's one: http://www.rc-electronics-usa.com/ammeters/rv-battery-monitor.html

This unit works quite well to check the voltage at the plug source and protects your trailer: http://www.dyersonline.com/Products/30-AMP-Smart-Surge-Protector__17105.aspx

Walmart sells an inexpensive 12v plug in digital read out monitor. Generally found in the marine section . http://www.amazon.com/Vector-VEC008-Digital-Voltmeter-Volt/dp/B0002...
