Looking for a brake controller. Local auto store carries Reese's Pod and Pilot. Are these good controllers? Or are there better ones out there? Thanks!

Love my Prodigy. Don't buy the P3 unless you use multiple trailers... my understanding is that the only improvement is the ability to save multiple settings for multiple trailers.

My question is what is so good about these Prodigy. I can't remeber what kind mine is but it's an electronic one and I love it. Actually my favorite on I've used is the one in my 05 ford that comes with it.

Prodigy... you set it once, and from that point on you just toggle between Boost 1, Boost 2, and Boost 3 depending on how much weight you're hauling. Plus, the display is digital so you can always see that you're connected and how much braking power you're getting. Much easier to use than the blind two-dial system of my old non-digital controller ... the Voyager if I remember right.
