My hubbie and I recently winterized our 2 yr. old trailer. While we were doing it, the heat kept coming on. The gas was turned off, but the furnace kept kicking on because the air was lower than the lowest setting on the thermostat. There is no "off" switch that I can find. I've winterized trailers for years, but I don't ever remember this problem. We ended up pulling the fuse out. What have I forgotten?

Ours had the same issue. The thermostat is suposed to be off when all the way down but it wasn't so every time I had the batteries on the furnace would do as yours is doing. So I went to Wally World and bought the inexpensive digital thermostat. Which has an off switch. And now we can have a more accurate temp reading. But before I replaced mine I was pulling the fuse for the furnace. A real pain.
