Location: Nebraska | Hi, just some advice please. I have been looking for a 2 horse 4 star gooseneck in the years from about 1997 to 2000. When I come across one that meets my needs, it seems like it's always a whole state or two away from me. Someone has a 2007 Exiss Sport for sale locally and I'm just wondering about the difference in quality between the 4 Stars and the Exiss. The Exiss is a basic gooseneck trailer with white skin, and extruded aluminum sides, folding rear tack. I know the Exiss Event is said to be better than the sport. Opinions? Thank you. Joan |

Location: Decatur, Texas | You can not even get close to compairing the two! The Exiss Sport in the lower end model! Drive for weeks if you need to to buy the 4 STAR! Unless you can buy the 07 Exiss at less than half the prtice the 00 4 Star is, then you might be ok.

Location: The Natural State | Buy the 4 Star. We drove 7 hours one way to pick ours up. You'll be happy every time you use it... even happier when it's resale time as you'll get a lot more of your money back! |

Location: Nebraska | Thank you so much for your imput, I will hold out for the 4 Star and just plan on taking a trip to get one. I thought I had read awhile back about 4 star being bought out by another company and that maybe the newer one's wouldn't be as well built. I wasn't able to find that thread again, can anyone tell me who builds them now and what year they took it over? thanks again for your help. Joan |

Location: missouri | 4-Star/Hart/Cimmaron/Bloomer/Twister are the only trailers I would remotely consider...if I had to get an older one for price, I would take it over a brand new other brand...good luck to you, you will be glad later. |

Location: Ohio | Walked around Congress for 5 hours yesterday and 4 of those hours were spent talking to dealers; including Exiss and 4-Star. It is hard to separate the various brands for the most part especially if you aren't looking for a trailer with a LQ. So I've got to ask: there are some very passionate 4-Star owners who responded to this question. Why do you like 4-Star so much? |

Location: rapid city sd | If you look at either a C&C, Elite, Platinum coach or 4 Star, the drop down windows, manger doors are all welded frame aluminum. Just grab that window on one of these and give it a twist, then to the same thing on an exiss sport(carefully). |

| I own both an 05 Exiss Event and an 06 Exiss Sport LQ. The Sport is an OK trailer, definately not top of the line, but good for the price. Of course the 4 Star is going to be built better, but I have pulled my Sport about 10,000 miles and haven't had any huge issues with it. |

Location: western PA | Our Exiss Event is now nine years old and has been absolutely reliable. It is well built, tows perfectly, and has had no mechanical issues of any kind. We couldn't be more pleased with its ownership, and look forward to many more years of its continued usage. The "BEST" trailer is not the most expensive model available. The best trailer, is the one that best suits your needs, regardless of price. Gard |
