| anyone know how to lift of block a trailer that has torsion axels? i have a 6 horse hart with a small LQ's and full midtack so it has some length and i have had some trouble scraping in areas it shouldnt. i have to have it a little higher in the front in order for the plumbing not to get ripped out but then the back with scrape. any ideas? |

Location: Northern Utah | The trailer dealers around here charge $500-$600 to block the axles on trailers. check with your dealer, If there is a trailer manufacture ( Horse, Dump, or Utility trailer, any competant mfg should be able to do it) They just unbolt or cut the welds on you axles and add a spacer inbetween the frame and the axles. The trick is to line the axles back up so they pull straight when they are reinstalled. If they do the job wrong, you'll eat tires like crazy. |

Where are you located? Most trailer dealers that has a full service department can more than likely handle the job. If you are in the North Texas area I can give you a few names and numbers of places that does this all the time. |

Click on the tab listed dealer and click on your state and there is a list of dealers with phone numbers and addresses. Maybe one of them is close to you. I would try the ones that offer the large trailers first! Hope this helps. HTB |

Location: Tenn/Ala. | Chrissy- Like HTB says, it is a fairly common item on many large trailers. We've done many over the years. Pricing will vary depending on how the axles are attached but the numbers you've seen here are pretty accurate. Location: Decatur, Texas | Go to the bar on the upper part of this page and click on dealers, then search for dealer by state. I found there is 19 dealers in your state. I am not sure if any are close or you can check the states next to you as well. Most trailer dealer that offer service can do the job. |
