Gosh, haven't posted here in a few years.  We have sold our trailer and want to upgrade just a step or so.  We are looking at a 1998 S&H 3 horse steel slant, I think it is  a Contender model.  2 ft short wall with the saddle rack in the 2 ft wall area.  What we would like to do, is build or find a rear tack box that can be installed in the back  because we would like to use the dressing room for a sleeping area and keep it somewhat clean.  I saw another post on where to buy these boxes with no answers, and have been told you basically have to build one, that they are hard to find.  This trailer does have one rear gate not two.  Also, we would eventually like to add windows in the dressing room and is it possible to move the slant wall that seperates the horse area from the sleeping area?  I appreciate it

This sounds like the same trailer I sold to some folks in that part of town at the first of the year....
Windows can be added really easy. Moving the slant wall would be a pain, because of the way the side walls in the horse compartment is. The best and cheapest way to fi that probelm would be sell your trailer and buy a trailer with a 4' or longer short wall with a rear tack compartment. I checked the prices of the rear add on boxes last winter and the prices was almost $1000.00 option. Sorry for the bad news.

Look at posting #110289. It's titled something like "cowboy back tack box" and it's recent. It has 2 sources for you to look into. Good luck with your project!
