The wife bought a new used trailer a few weeks back.

The blinkers were not working properly so I started to trace the problem.

WHen I took the plug apart it was full of water and some of the wires was not attached to the screws

I got put my test light and started hooking thibgs back up.

Problem:::::THe brown wire on the truck was my tail lights but the brown wire on the trailer was the groud and when they wetnt together in the hook-up something happened and now this is what I have.

(1) Trailewr is wiored properly and when hooked to one of our trucks everything works fine.

(2) when hooked to the truck that was hooked up when the wired got crossed this is the results.

A- The tail lights are buring on the truck but both of the trailer plugs show not power.

B- One of the blinkers works correctly on the truck and in both trailer plugs.

One of the blinkers works on the truck but not in the trailer plugs.

Question: My wife's truck is a Dodge 3500, Is there  seperate fuses for the trailer plugs and if so where are they?

Thanks a million.

Problem solved, there was 2 blown fuses.

This is the first truck I have ever seen with dedicated trailer light fuses. Good idea though.

There was only 60 fuses under the hood.

Thanks againm Information is key.
