I cannot locate the specs on the GVWR on my 1995 Logan Competitor 2h bumper pull trailer, however, I found specs on a '97 which says the psi should be 50 lbs which would equate to a c load range tire right? The tires currently on the trailer are 225/75-15 C and are in need of replacement. Several people have told me to replace with D load range, but I'm thinking that's not what Logan recommends. Help!

What's on the trailer now?? Make of tire? Goodyear Marathon shows a 225/75-15, lrC, at 50psi and a load weight rating of 2150#.... Figure that number x's 4 =  8600#. I'm guessing your trailer has two, 3500# axles with a total GVWR of 7000#..... A load range "C" Goodyear Marathon looks good to me..... All 225/75-15 radials aren't rated as heavy as the Marathon.... Read the numbers on the tire...!! Your rims may not be able to withstand the higher pressure that the lrD requires, 65psi.

Thanks all. Yep, its Goodyear Marathons I'm replacing with Goodyear Marathons! Just placed my order from tirerack.com. I just needed some extra reassurance that I should get Cs vs. Ds.

Retento.....What do you think of these? I have Cooper's on both trucks. Just replaced the 1 ton with e rated and steel stems at $247 a tire installed. We have Cooper's on our stock trailer as well and we really like the tires. I need to start a new trailer tire fund..... http://www.custom-wheels-car-rims.com/Store_Detail.cfm?ID=173945&am...

I tried a set of Coopers several years ago, saved maybe $100.00 up front, costed me in the end.... They were soft, sqirmy and wore out way too soon. Tread rubber seemed too soft..... I went back to my Michelin LTX M/S's on the truck. Michelin XPS rib on one trailer, Goodyear G614RST's on another. The other trailers have Toyo ???? 215/75-17.5's.. That Cooper you listed sounds like a skill saw cutting tin at about 70 mph!! They are probably alright, just not alright for me....
