New to the forum but I am trying to find out if anyone has heard of Excel or Exel horse trailers and can point me to their web site. I believe they sell "shell" living quarter trailers for those who waht to build their own interiors. If anyone can help I would appreciate it!

Thanks!

The only trailer that I can find under that name is an Excel made in the UK. It is a light weight unit somewhat similar to a Brenderup.

Most trailer companies' bare dressing room models can be converted to a LQ, IF, the axles and tires are strong enough for the additional weight. A 4' weekender LQ adds ~700#s to the trailer's empty weight. Obviously a longer LQ would add more, if the additional space were utilized with additional cabinetry etc.

Thanks for the reply. I think I am actually looking for the Elite trailer. I remembered what the logo on the front looked like! Thanks again for the quick reply!
