Location: Trout Creek, MT | Which in itself really kind of irks me. I have read many threads on here and think my only real option is the Goodyear 614's. Not many places locally that have them, and the one that can order them for me wants $1400 for a set of four ($347 each 235-85-16's). Any good places online to get them or is that pretty much the going rate. |

These folks have a good price on the G614's but I imagine the freight will eat you up, you then got to pay to have them mounted and balanced..... Last set I bought were $275.00 a piece, mounted and balanced.... http://www.trailertiresandwheels.com/site/1284278/product/RG614 |

It is a four horse aluminum skinned steel framed trailer with an 8' shortwall LQ. It has Chinese 235 85 16 load range G's on it now. Winland I believe is the brand name. |

Since it has load range "G's" on it already, then you'll probably need to go back with G's..... You got two options... Go back with the Chinese tires or go with the Goodyear G614RST's..... Me, I only see one option, but then again, I'm not the one spending your money... http://www.goodyear.com/rv/products/g614rst.html |

| Either go with the rst goodyear or convert to 17.5" tires and wheels. either way the cost is about the same. Trails West had put winland tires on my trailer and they are horrible. The advantage of the 17.5" wheels and tires you get a higher weight rating, i.e H vs G. good luck.

Location: Missouri | I got my 614's about 3 weeks ago for $249 each mounted & balanced. Check around - I got mine at a Firestone dealer. Also, if you check the Goodyear site, they have a $25 per tire rebate - here: http://www.goodyear.com/rv/pdf/G670G614_RVONLINE_P.pdf that is good (I think) through end of July. I also see that they offer 12 months no interest financing with the Goodyear credit card. They are spendy, but there are a few cost cutting measures. Bite the bullet and don't look back.

Looks like I'll have to suck it up, skip a show or two and get the Goodyears. |
