| I'm just looking for ballpark prices..I was asked by an acquaintance who wants to rent my 8' LQ for 2 weeks during the summer (1 week at a time). What's a fair price for a week? I wasn't planning on using it during the time frame that he needs it. |

So right now my is worth about 38 to 40-k so that is what I would rent it for. |

Location: Prior Lake, MN | Check out RV rental places and you will see that they rent trailers and RVs for upwards of $600 a week. |

Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | Seen an ad somewhere for a two horse bumper pull for rent, $60.00 per day or $300.00 per week. Another ad below for a two horse stock bumper trailer. http://raleigh.craigslist.org/grd/1169682647.html http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/home/trailerdetail.asp?ID=156533

Location: Ottawa, Illinois 61350 | Having rented LQ's in the past (our dealership); I would make sure that you have everything in writing, including any concerns with the trailer. I would also want to know what the "housekeeping" habits are of the "aquaintance" your renting it to. If it is a relative or friend; it's a good way to put a strain on that relationship. My advice: Get plenty of rent; because like anything else that someone else use's, borrows, etc................if it's gonna break or something happens to it..............it's gonna happen while they're renting it !!! Also, make sure THEIR INSURANCE IS GOING TO COVER IT !! |
