| Will the value of C&C trailers hold steady, go up or down due to the factory being closed? I have one for sale, and would have liked to replace it with a 2 horse C&C but could not find the one I wanted, so I settled for a 4Star. I could see where a trailer like mine is actually worth more, as I don't think there are many trailers made as sturdy. What's everyone else's opinions and what has really been going on out in the real world. Plus, has the economy slowed trailer sales severely, and should we take that into consideration when pricing a used or even new trailer now???? Of course when I bought my new trailer I did NOT get any great discount due to the economic slow down....... What have others been experiencing... |

Location: Vermont | The dealers that still have them on their lot are NOT panicking at this time... for example this place is still offering a FACTORY WARRANTY... http://www.actionhorsetrailers.com/ I for one am NOT contemplating selling my unit just because C&C is closed...

Location: AL | I believe the C&C trailers will at least hold their values. As sturdy as they are made, they are still a great trailer. Plus these days, there are alot of places that will work on any brand of trailer. As for warranty issues, I don't know. Guess I am a bit biased & hopeful since I have owned one for 6 years and now have it for sale!! |

One downside will be obtaining financing through the traditional sources. Dealers are bound to give less on a trade becasue there normal sources will not finance them. |

Location: Shawnee, Oklahoma | I think they will hold their vaue because they are a very well made trailer....plus warranty issues are very very rare. Most of the LQ's in them should have their own separate warranty, so there's no worry with that. They are made so similar to a Platinum that any additions or repairs can be made in OKC at the Platinum factory with no problems at all. It's too bad they went under, it sure wasn't because of an inferior product! |
