Budget is bout $2500 I have a Master Saddle that is a Jake Barnes signature series and really like it. The list price on it was around $2300., I was lucky enough to buy it from Lonny at Master Saddles and was used a couple of times and paid 1250. for it including a matching breast collar. When you look them up make sure you are not looking at the trophy saddles. They are good, but not near the saddle the custom ones are. |

Location: Memphis, TN | Hey brew26.....If I had that budget I would have bought a McCall saddle.....friend has one an I love it but I could not afford that. I did just buy a Billy Cook Wade Ranch saddle and Love it. I've seen the Catus you mentioned and it looks good. |

Location: MT | I've looked at all the saddles and the websites everyone mentioned and it is helping...I've tried contacting the master saddles cause they look awesome. For anyone reading this if you've had any of these saddles and roped out of them or even just road them your comments are very welcome.

Location: Harrisburg, OR | I've got a couple Cactus saddles and found they fit most horses great. I've been really happy with them. I won the ones I have but if I was looking to buy one I'd go with a custom saddle. You might check out Todd Sloan saddles. He builds his here in the Northwest and I know alot of the calf ropers like them. He can also probably build it to specifically fit your horse or a more general build if need be. |
