| I've got a sundowner 3 horse slant that I would like to gradually convert to a living quarters trailer. Does anyone know how the heck to do this? The electric? AC? (I mostly want this first) Cabinetry? How do you set the cabinets in it? Water? I was hoping to get this stuff done by July. But I definately need some insight here. I'd really appreciate it. |

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas | If you click on the search button and put in DIY LQ, I'll bet you'll find a wealth of information.. I''ve read some of it, but my not having a gooseneck makes the info non-applicable for me.. There are several good links to other peoples myspaces, or websites or whatever that have pictures and info.. One guy in particular (I've forgotten his name, but I remember he is an endurance rider) converted his GN to a LQ completely by himself and did a helluva job.. |

Gard is helping a friend do an LQ in a small dressing room and has been doing a regular post on it with processes and time and costs. http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/forum/thread-view.asp?threadid=11440 http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/forum/thread-view.asp?threadid=11527 http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/forum/thread-view.asp?threadid=11610 http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/forum/thread-view.asp?threadid=11674 That's a start for you.... |

Location: Little Rock, AR | I puchased the EZ Build Living Quarter book at lulu.com, and it has been very helpful to me. I would highly recommend it to anyone trying to do their own living quarter. I believe they offer a CD now for less money than the book. |
