I don't think anyone knows how to respond. If you should seal the back of yor paneling as Gard suggests, why shouldn't you seal your stripping? However, all the threads that I have read on here, I have never heard of anyone sealing the stripping. And I hadn't heard of anyone sealing the back of the paneling until suggested here recently. I dont know. Maybe someone else will respond and give you more information.
