Location: rochelle va. | Okay - update - we went there. If you want to stay at the the BEST BSF has to offer - stay here. The hosts (Pam and Gary) are wonderful and the trails are absolutely breathtaking! These folks will bend over backwards to make you comfortable. You can leave the campground and ride or they have two trailers to borrow so you can trailer minutes to a trailhead to broaden your horizons. The bathhouse, barn and campsites are immaculate! It is so peaceful and beautiful. You can ride all day on trails that wind through scenic overlooks, down to the river, or along wide well groomed trails where you can just enjoy the view. I am a wuss when it comes to steep drop-offs, so this place fits the bill. If you're a rough rider, the trails are there, just not my cup of tea. Just ask and they'll tell you your kind of trail. |
