Location: Where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain... | Probably cut the pin in the hitch lock, or the hitch lock, but not the pad lock if it was a good one. Everything on a hitch lock is soft with the exception of the pad lock. 5 pound sledge and a few well placed swings...presto...no more hitch lock. Or, the quieter route would be a hacksaw... Location: Arkansas | Our gooseneck lock is stainless steel, then there is a sort of fat round master lock, and the same lock on the bolts that hold on the hitch assembly.....then there's the dogs, and then there's.......me!

You have the good one! And a good lock. Those fat round master locks are good. Can't get on them with the bolt cutters, and even if you could, you have to cut it twice to get a chunk out of it to get it off. The dogs and you are probably the best defense though! |

Location: Danielsville Georgia | Bet in this economy LOTS of trailers/equipment are being ripped off eaither legit stolen or set up stolen.I know a gal that parked here Sundowner with 10 sw LQ in front of her house on the road frontage unlocked and went on a 3 week road trip with a boyfriend(trucker).It was still there when she got back home.She was like DARN.I tell you the thought DID occur to me. |
