I am testing the waters of trading in a very nice older (1995) 4 Star weekender for an older (1997) with full LQ.  Since my DH built our current interior, I'm not sure what all I'd need to check (or have checked) on a factory LQ.

Any tips/pointers/advice for shopping on a trailer that "old"?  It looks to be nice and well kept, but it is over 7 hours away, really too far to go & kick the tires.  What is most likely to fail at this age?  Will the plumbing / tanks need to be redone?  Just don't want to buy a money pit, especially since DH would never let me live it down.

I'd sure appreciate any information.

Thanks!
