Location: Midland, MI | Hi ya'll! This is my first post here, so sorry if this has been discussed. I have a 2001 Exiss 4 horse GN. I would like to have some drop down window bars installed, as well as a couple of fans installed above the horses. I am wondering if anyone knows where I could order these items? I have a good trailer service place that could install them, if I could just FIND them! Thanks for any suggestions... |

Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | Here's a couple places that may help, or contact Exiss, they could sell you the correct window for your trailer. http://www.horsetraileraccessorystore.com/window_feed_doors.htm http://www.statewidealum.com/livestock-trailers-statewide-alum.htm |

Location: Kansas | You can get the fans out of several catalogs-northerntools.com, farmtek.com, valleyvet.com Love mine-wouldn't haul in Kansas in summer without them. |

Location: Hutto, TX | My 4 Star was built before they started separating the bars from the drop down window so we have considered various options to allow more airflow and I think, mostly because of the cost, we are going to have snaps or zippers added to the middle of the screens. The screen would then be opened up from the bottom about halfway up when we wanted more airflow. The entire screen is velcroed and is removeable but I don't like the horses to hang their heads out.
We have the fans and have insulated the ceiling. Would love drops on the back instead of sliders too. |

Location: Midland, MI | After making some calls today, a guy at Exiss recommended I contact Hehr International http://www.hehr-international.com/ They can order me a complete new window with the seperate bars, but it's about $350 I was hoping to find just the bars to install. The screens I have are great. I just had two new ones made here: www.horsetraileraccessorystore.com They are to replace my origionals that our really bratty destructive gelding had destryed by pushing on them constantly until they finally ripped THAT is why I want the bars, LOL! These screens are very heavy duty and have full top to bottom zippers for easy access when feeding or watering on the road. I did find some fans that should work at the nortern tool site listed above. Thanks to all for the help! Think spring..... |
