Location: WI | If it were me, I'd see if the inset panels can be removed. Open the cabinet and see if the panel is just tacked in place with staples from the inside. If so, remove the staples, take the panel out, downsize it on your table saw to allow you to wrap the bullhide around the panel, adhere with contact cement, then re-install the panel back into the cabinet door frame. This will alleviate the need to try to cut the bullhide square to fill the panel to the edge of the door frames. Or....forgo my original idea and the upholstery buttons and "frame" the bullhide with rope. This will hide any "oopses". |
